Over the past 9 years, our predecessors have turned the Waldhaus Rudolfshöhe into a remarkable place – it's no wonder the international press couldn’t stop raving about it.
Everything here is a treat for the eyes and the soul.
It is with great joy that Nina & Denis are taking over this small and charming boutique hotel in the summer of 2025. Much will stay the same, some things will be new – always with a keen sense of good taste.
But the best way to experience it is with all your senses!

Afternoons on the Terrace
The magnificent sun terrace is open Tuesday to Sunday from 2 p.m. during the summer season. With breathtaking views, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere of well-being and fun, peace and quiet, and frolic. We look forward to welcoming everyone strolling past Rudolfshöhe and craving a short break – we have a fine snack menu and fine drinks available.

Evenings in the Restaurant
In our small and fine restaurant, we serve creative Asian-inspired dishes in the evenings – freshly prepared with the finest local ingredients from carefully selected farmers and suppliers. We love to make our own syrups and jams, and pick fresh herbs straight from our garden. Culinary delights guaranteed.
As a passionate two-person team, our capacities are limited – which is why we pamper you exclusively with a reservation.

Don’t feel like leaving the magical atmosphere and tranquil vibe? Treat yourself to more of the profound calm and soothing ambiance of Rudolfshöhe and stay overnight: we offer 4 tastefully furnished double rooms – complete with delightful extras for a truly enjoyable stay.
Delightful Breakfast
Since holidays are made for sleeping in, we serve our Late Breakfast from 9 AM. Early birds are welcome to help themselves to coffee, tea, fruit, muesli and yogurt before that.

All Yours: Rent the Rudolfshöhe
With over 600 years of history, Waldhaus Rudolfshöhe has seen a lot – including a picnic by Empress Sisi! And now it’s excited to see what you plan to do here. The Waldhaus is a fabulous venue for events of all kinds – be it weddings, christenings, birthdays, corporate parties, retreats, yoga, workshops, home office or hideaway! In addition, Rudolfshöhe offers a unique film backdrop and can therefore also be rented as a film location.
Completely private and “totally secret”: You are welcome to rent our chic “hut” on a self-catering basis (with or without service) and enjoy the Rudolfshöhe all to yourself.
Our Hosts
Whether it was coincidence or fate that brought Nina and Denis together a year and a half ago in Bad Gastein, their talents have proven to be a remarkable combination – as visitors already experienced last year at Windischgrätzhöhe. Now, the two are delighted to have the opportunity to shape the Rudolfshöhe with their unique style. At this point, heartfelt thanks go out to Marina and Arno for this wonderful opportunity!
Together, Nina & Denis run the Waldhaus Rudolfshöhe with passion, creativity, and a strong sense of hospitality. Their goal is to create a place that is at once relaxing, inspiring, and truly unique in its culinary offerings.
Nina is an experienced and passionate host, known for nina&fred, ninasseacrete, and ninashome. A born city-dweller, she has been living permanently in Bad Gastein for over 9 years – her love for this place runs deep. Here she has gained extensive experience in some of the town’s finest hotels and restaurants. She expresses her creativity through a passion for beautiful things, good design, special places, and nature.
Denis comes from Tallinn, Estonia, and has spent many years cooking internationally in outstanding hotels and restaurants. He brings his creativity to life in the kitchen, loves experimenting with new recipes, refining traditional dishes, and conjuring up irresistible flavors.

Perched high at 1,220 meters above sea level and nestled at the edge of the forest, Waldhaus Rudolfshöhe is surrounded by meadows, nature, absolute tranquility, and countless beautiful hiking trails. And by car, you can reach the heart of the famous Bad Gastein in just 5 minutes.
